A global communication business was assessing the feasibility of outsourcing a number of its support functions including finance, HR and procurement. This involved a large amount of work which could not be undertaken in house and this was compounded by the sensitive nature of the project.


Following initial contact to provide interim support, we quickly got together with the client to gain an in-depth understanding of the project, establishing the success criteria, and the qualities required in the prospective interim consultant.

Only when we had established a full understanding of the assignment did we look to our extensive pool of senior interim managers in order to exactly match the client’s requirements.

Given the technical nature of the project, we were able to provide a Senior HR professional with both outsourcing and international HR experience. Strong project management and a robust influencer were also pre-requisites and we provided a short list of three candidates to the client.


Having selected their preferred candidate, our simplified process meant that our interim manager was in place in less than a week and the client is benefitting from our highly competitive rates, ensuring real value for money.
